The Satharo-Tali War began very early on in Star Empires history. One of the earliest and greatest Tali exploration vessel, the Dilros Skies, had recently passed through the system of the Satharo Empire, and were pushed from the system. They then began exploration of Sol. As the USM (Unified Stars Military) were negotiating with the Satharo over border problems, war broke out. The Tali found themselves in the middle of the conflict, and decided to intervene. They sided with the humans, destroying the massive Leviathan, of the Black Legion, who were temporary allies with the Satharo. Earth was severely damaged by this conflict. The Tali also aided in the Battle of Cassius Major. It was a horrible bloody battle, the Satharo severely outnumbering the Tali, who were destroyed after taking down numerous Satharo vessels. The USM, meanwhile, has shattered into several splinter factions, the largest being the Fourth World Military (FWM). The FWM, after absorbing all other splinter factions, sided with the Satharo. The Tali desperately fought these two opponents, and finally the FWM was defeated. The Tali had been working on a secret project back at the shipyards of Denyon, and it was now finished: the War Hawk, the first Tali warship and the new flagship, equipped with three Megacannons that shot plasma, ion, and disruptor. The new United Federation, which had been created from the FWM, shared information with the Tali on the Rasilaak Station, the massive shipyard of the Satharo that was the secret behind the Empire's war effort. The Tali fought another long, bloody battle, with the result of the destruction of Rasilaak Station at the hands of the War Hawk. The Tali then brought the battle to Rytha, the Satharo homeworld. After destroying thousands of Satharo vessels, the Tali landed, where the Yelta and Jurpa Clans had rebelled against the dominant Olarn Clan. The battle ended shortly after, with the Yelta Clan soldier and explorer Shal Tulko declaring himself emperor, and bringing the battle-weary Satharo Empire into a long period of peace. And so, the short but horrific war came to an end, with the Tali again peacefully seeking adventure.
